California's Governor Debate
At the debate between jerry brown and Meg Whitman for governor of California they talked about issues that need to be fixed in California. jerry brown said that if he wins the election two weeks after he will call all one hundred and twenty legislatures for a meeting to go over California's budget plan. Meg whitman said that the existing pension system the (Rank and file) this needs to be different. she also added on to that and said if California dosen't solve this pension issue California will suffer. Meg Whitman also said "that we need to make the Government smaller to make it stronger to get califronia back on track". jerry brown said the unions chose Meg Whitman because he is to hard on unions. Meg whitman said she supports the death penalty and the 3 strikes your out. she also spoke about prop 23 and she said that prop 23 will kill green jobs.jerry brown was saying that he would make California use less oil and use more sun.Meg whitman wants a better public school system in California. jerry brown donated 1.1 million dollars to a charter school. so he supports charter schools strongly. meg whitman want's to solve the problem of illegal immigrants. jerry said that Meg whitman just wants the immigrants to come and work and use them up and then send them back. meg also said"that jobs will put California's budget together. jerry also said how is Meg going to solve this by deporting the immigrants i think that Meg Whitman would not be a good governor.
